ReCinder is a 100% recycled material made from discarded ceramic and waste ash that has been diverted from landfill.

Developed as a greener alternative to industrially processed clay, ReCinder is suitable for tiling, tableware and furniture.

ReCinder’s self-glazing nature eradicates the need for conventionally mined raw materials often used in ceramic glazes.

Its aesthetic potential can differ greatly from colour to surface texture depending on the source of the waste, making each piece completely individual.

However it’s most significant application is its use in lighting due to its unique translucent quality and ability to filter out harmful blue light.

ReCinder is currently one of the only recycled ceramic materials on the market capable of translucency.
